Overview

Hampton University selected River City Enterprises to renovate Buckman Hall. The goal was to improve functionality, aesthetics, and safety for classrooms while supporting contemporary teaching styles. Our team upgraded finishes, electrical systems, and life safety features, and reconfigured the presentation stage so instructors could use the space more effectively.

“River City was very thoughtful as it relates to our class schedule…they had to work around our scheduling for courses and be very thoughtful about noise in the space because we did have to continue with teaching courses in other spaces that were nearby. The communication throughout the project was also excellent. There were several times where there was a check-in, an in-person check-in with my office and with the person to whom I delegated the task on my end. So we never felt as though we could not understand what stage the process was in. There was frequent communication, and we appreciate that.
